Canadian Blood Services is operating a Blood Donor Clinic this Monday, July 25th from 2pm – 7pm at the Bracebridge Sportsplex.
The last clinic fell on Victoria Day and wasn’t well attended, collecting only 94 of the targeted 120 units we were hoping to bring home. As a result, there were less “re-bookings” into this upcoming clinic, therefore collections will potentially be “impacted” again.
We really don’t want that to happen, as every drop of blood is critical at this time of year, with more cars on the road, the risk for accidents grows higher and higher.
