Tourism Excellence North (TEN) is a tourism development program for Northern Ontario, TEN is a suite of 10 training solutions designed to strengthen the ability of tourism operations to respond to changes in the marketplace, adapt to quality visitor expectations, develop innovative experiences that raise the bar on visitor value and deliver increased returns for operations and the destination as a whole.

TEN provides operators and communities with self-assessment tools and workshops designed specifically for the tourism industry in Northern Ontario.
You can begin by accessing the free self-assessment tools as a tourism operator or as a community organization. The tools are posted on the TEN website http://tourismexcellencenorth.ca for use on your own time, to assess your products and experiences. You will be required to fill out a short registration form and when complete, you are automatically given access to the self-assessment tools. You have the option to download the tools through Adobe and fill them out on your computer or print and fill out by hand.
